Well in that case, she can bring me her Scout, and dad
& I will lead it instead of filler. Won't be the first
scout we've done it on.

Well, they had access to both sides. You have to ask
yourself, a little filler, or cut open & reweld.
Besides, when you reweld that panel, that's a prime
spot for rust to start eventually.
And where that dent is, with that corner there, it
make's it a whole nother story from what they did on
TV. And I'll bet that they still used a little filler
after all that filing. Maybe some premix laquer putty
over the first primer coat, but I'll bet they used
something.

Like I said, we can lead it. Lead won't crack & pop
out like filler, though the new fiberglass fillers are
way better than the old stuff. Evercoat makes good
stuff! I won't use anything else. Bondo's amazing
stuff. You can even use it to smooth the edges of
plywood.

True, but having the codes is the best way to start.
Besides, if you have the money, a really good shop can
match it. Yellow does make it harder though, as it's
a weak color and doesn't cover as well. That's 1
reason for using so many coats.
