this is potentially extremely challenging.
the server runs a perl application called demime which strips out
attachments, etc., and forwards plain text to the subscribers.
it may be that you're tickling a weak point in demime's code for extraction
of plain text.
there are newer versions of demime. i'll upgrade to the current version,
but if that doesn't fix it, well, demime is too important to the smooth
operation of the lists to just remove from the pipeline. we'll have to work
on it.
