Well, Erick Foor has a CV on his 4" springs on top of axle "Spare
Parts".. call it 10" of lift.

His CV clears because he notched the side of the transmission pan.. but
I also don't think he fully "stuffs" his 38" Swampers (or were they
42s?) very often!

The 727 and the CV are just too big and hit.

Of course, if you went to a dual transfer case setup, you could a) clear
a CV and b) not need one (longer driveshaft).

Or you could lower the motor and transmission and transfer case 2" and
relieve the angles on the U-joints.. but sacrifice some center-of-body
clearance.
