gauge question



Here's one for you gurus out there, this morning on the way to work my
aftermarket (Sun, if it matters) Ammeter went to ~45 amps and is there
still. I had the ignition and EFI running, the radio (to low to hear,
besides it's a take out from the ole lady's exploder) on and nuttin else.
So do I have to (I know the answer I think) pull the top so I can pull the
cage so i can pull the dash to get to the gauge, or is it something I can
fix easily, like draw with the winch to drom it back down. BTW full scale
is 60 A so it's not on the high peg, just a random offset.
