When my Scout first got painted before it was out of the shop the painter
asked if he could try some new buffer compound on my scout, I'm easy so I
said yea.  Anyway he buffed a very small spot on a corner through the paint.
The only time it's remotely noticeable is when your washing it by hand.  The
rest of the time it blends in with road film or dust.
