I can't tell you much about the costs involved on mid-size trucks.

But I can tell you that if you are a subcontractor, that you can write
off the expense of a 6000+ gvw vehicle at an accelerated pace (all in
one year).  That covers most of the IHs built in the 70s!

BTW, the limit is $19,000 - so you can buy one *heck* of an old truck! Or,
for Tom, maybe 85 old travelalls! ;-)
