Dan:

GM has taken to "gluing" their door hinges on with a heat setting glue. Go
look at a new Chevy truck. You'll see no bolt heads or nuts on the hinge
plates. thier just flat steel stock. It's glue between them and the door
jamb that holds them on.

So, this stuff has got to be around. Body shops would need it to do 'factory
repairs'.
