Mike,

Clean up the battery connectors and CLAMP THEM DOWN good.  I know from
experience you can't just toss the cables onto the battery (when
"borrowing" batteries).. it works fine a few starts.. then doesn't for a
few more.. the battery simply can't transfer enough juice with the loose
connection.
