What are original IHC gas tanks made of anyway?  What are all the
inlets/outlets for?  Do they matter?

I only ask because there are 4 on the side and 3 on the top (not counting
the big fuel inlet) and only a few of them were in use when I bought the
scout.  The others were all blocked off (badly of course).
