Chevette seats, and Camaro? Wheels.

     Bill,

Had an '85 Pontiac T1000 (Chevette) and the seats are NOT the same.
The chevette seats have mounts that are longer on the outside two
points, so they'd lean towards the center in the scout so much that
thay would probably touch at the top! Also, the chevette seats
recline with a knob and don't pivot forward so easy at all.
     Definitely not the same.

Curt-

BTW I heard somewhere the bucket seats from a Scout and the bucket seats
from the wondrous Chevette are the same. Any truth to this story?

Toms,

They only LOOK the same. Most Chevy is 5 on 5", Scout is 5 on 5.5". NO
dice. Corvette wheels would look good huh? The rallye wheels are IH specific,
that's what I want for my Travelall. Stock wheels with 31s. The stock hubcap
rims are 6.5", the rallye wheels are wider, not by much, but wider. Less float
with a 31 with even 1/2" wider rims. The wagon wheels on my scout with 31s
handle great! Actually skips between lanes very well!

Tom - didn't ya know the steering column in your Terra is from a Vega? ;-)

I thought I heard somewhere the Scout Rallye wheels and the Camaro Ralley
wheels were the "same" with different decals.. but I could be wrong.
