Re[2]: 727 rebuilds for life!

     Tom,

The hole in the bellhousing would not diminish the strength of the
bellhousing. It's round so it won't start a crack, and it's far too
small in a Non-stress area to matter. I'm only talking about a 1/4"
hole max! I'm not rebuilding the tranny, Banks is, so if they can tap
it for me, great. But, I can't, if they don't. If they dont, I'll
have to JB weld it. Also, the elbow would stick out at LEAST 1/2" or
more, so the small brass pipe of 1/8" would not be a problem, provided
that the clearance in greater than that.

The crank-rotary valve clearance for a Vespa Motorscooter 2-stroke
engine is 0.008! You can barely get a piece of paper in there by the
carb port before it cuts it off. Is the Torque convertor very close
to the tranny? Take some plasticene clay and put a dab on there, and
push the convertor on and let us know. It's up to you. Only you can
     save us Tom. Only you....

     -Joel
