Slushbox ASSISTANCE PLEASE!

        Guess what?  OK, here's the short story.
     
     Tranny starts slipping on the way back home from work, about a week or 
     two ago.  Pull into parking lot at apartments, and as I back in, 
     'ping' reverse starts to slip.  Fine, I can deal with no reverse.  
     Next, fast forward to today.  Start up '75 T'all 4wd, and head out for 
     work.  I've got about 1 mile and a half of slower streets till the 
     freeway so everything's working ok, forward.  Get to freeway, get on, 
     and now no third gear!  Winds up in first, shifts, winds up in second, 
     then when it's supposed to shift to third, it start to slip!  Shift 
     back down to second, for the 25 mile freeway drive to work.  Took 35 
     minutes plus!  Now, what causes reverse and thrid to fail?  Tranny 
     gurus unite!  This was a better tranny before I had it rebuilt!  At 
     least I knew then that after it chattered it would give me every gear! 
      NOW I ONLY HAVE 2 SPEEDS FORWARD, NO THIRD, AND NO REVERSE.  Parking 
     gets REAL creative until I can get to my Uncles' shop tonight.
     
     Yay, the Harvester bug stings again.
