Tommy,
I'm going to put a warning on all my future tips, (such as the past
tip on pouring a little gasoline in the well where the nut holds the
air filter lid down) that such tip can only be used by non-accident
prone, mature adults. 
Sure glad that neither you nor your Scout got overly well cooked.
