Back up lights
Hello,
It doesn't matter which of the OUTER two pins are connected to the fuse panel or to the lights. In reverse the switch just makes a connection between the two pins. Current flows from the fuse through the switch to the bulbs then to the infamous local grounds at or near the bulbs.
