Kevin,

I've got the MSD 6A with no rev limiter.  Others have suggested maybe fuel
starvation.  I've replaced the inline filter, is there a chance that there's
another inline filter that I can't find? This one's got me stumped...

Could it be that you have a rev limiter included in the MSD package?
That's what
it sounds like to me. Dunno about the exhaust noise, though.
