Landry's Timing...

     John,

Any idea why a perfectly running truck (for a year or so)
would suddenly back fire, and continue to run reasonable for 15
minutes, then backfire again, and 15 min later take a crap? I
have the gears. I have the pieces you speak of, I have the
technology, I can rebuild it. $6 Million. No, anyway, really the
teeth are shaved completely off one half of the gear. I just
know that the truck backfired three times. Once on the on-ramp,
once 15 min later, and once at The Event. End of story. Bad
gears. Repl gears, and been running ok for a month now. Now
since I didn't knock on wood, my truck will catch fire and burn
to the ground before I make it home. Thanks, John.

Oh about Mech. Priciples and such. EVERYONE ANYWHERE says
that you will NEVER have problems with geared timing. LIES.
I'll bring the gears to Tulare. You will be amazed and astounded
     to see what is left.
