Re: Help Replacing Sliding Side Windows

Piece of cake, just go from the inside and slide a small thin blade
screwdriver into the rbber gasket and work it around the window to
lossen it up. Then take two screwdrivers and starting in the uper front
corner carefully work the window frme outward. Once the old one is out
take the new ones and slick the new rubber up with some silicon grease
or something and with someone on the outside, put thebottom edge of the
rubber into the top and using that same small screwdriver pry the inside
edge of the gasket over the lip of the top. Once you have the entire
rubber lip inside have someone on the outside push on the frame while
you work the rest of the gasket tight onto the lip. There is a little
step inside the groove of the rubber that must be pulled up over the
lip. Takes about a half hour per window.
