Doing the work yourself

I do 98% of my own mechanic work. On engines and tranny's I do all my
own work on my weekend warrior Traveler, but the family rig is done
professionally for a couple of reasons; first it usually gets done sooner
and second, if it's not right my wife has someone other than myself to
blame.

My certifications, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BSN, RN. The closer you are to
dying the more fun I have. I have told people that I should be able to
shoot a deer, run up to it, and then save it; I have never tried, I fear
a lack of cooperation on the part of the patient.
