800 disks continued

this message may have already been sent.  i have all of the parts on
my 800. scout2 drum master cylinder, scout2 disk proportioning valve,
chevy calipers.  all the stuff fits fine.  the problem is that i
cannot seem to get the truck bled.  the brakes work well after
multiple pumps, but there is really no pedal in general.  when i get
the brakes pumped up there is no apparent fade.  the master cylinder
worked well (with reservoirs reversed!)when the truck ran drums.  the
calipers seem to be functioning fine. does anyone have any ideas?
