Re: SleepingPlatform

I don't fall off while sleeping on the Scout.. I just sag right down in the
middle and rip all of the snaps and/or seams from the soft-top... I then end
up hanging between the two aluminum tube "bows", which eventually bent from
my weight, leaving me laying across the top of the front and rear bench
seats.. which is not a comfortable place.

I finally gave up sleeping on the top of the Scout, and now I just stuff an
extra sleeping back down in the passenger foot-well, which lets me kinda
curl around the bench seat and put my head almost on the dash pad... it
works, it's fairly comfortable, and it's better on my back than the afore
mentioned method.

I haven't had a chance to see if the Scout II hood is large enough to sleep
on, though I bet it is... and probably warm, too.. hmm.. drive the Scout
into a lake again, sleep on the hood, and it'll be just like the heated
waterbed at home.
