I haven't tried this, but; it seamed like an easy way to do it. At the
very least if the lead comes off you only have the throtle close, not
open, so safty is not a concern. But, as Bill Thebert pointed out, you
may be pulling the throtle open by crimping something on the cable, thus
making a safty concern.
