By the way Steve, I didn't know that was where "Ramcharger" came from.

Anyway, I believe that the compression check is probably worthwhile, but
not you can't count on it picking up the problem. Leaking a gas bubble or
two each time the piston comes up on the compression stroke may not be
enough to identify the leaking area. If it shows the leak, good, if it
doesn't that doesn't mean it isn't leaking. Obviously, it is leaking!
