Scouters,

Somebody was talking about battery progress in the last 25 years.  The 
lead acid cell is pretty much as it was then.  The main difference is the 
case.  Now they are thin plastic, this allows a much bigger battery to 
fit in the same batt box as an electrically smaller one 25 years ago.

That's why electric cars aren't going anywhere.  Batteries really haven't 
changed much.
