Dan,
   My 'new' 71 came with the old AM radio in the back of the truck. I
haven't tried it. The speaker is definantly cracked. The radio that is
in there is distorted at all volumes. I was thinking about putting a sub
woffer in the old stock speaker location in the dash, with regular 6x9's
along side the back seat in the walls.
