Fixing Threads on bolts etc...

IH all,

I've found that most threads from 4-40 to 5/8" can be fixed through the
use of a Fish hook file. They're available at any Wal-mart or similar store
and are usually thin enough to resemble a knife. They can fix almost any angle
and even cut new threads in stud rod, if you need one or two more threads. They
are made to cut through hardened steel (fish hooks) and at the end of the season
(location depending) they're only $0.50 or so. Had mine 12 years, no rust
either.
