Joe,

I just did this to replace some lines on  my '79.  This is by the left 
front wheel, right?  There is a hex head on top.  Just unscrew that and 
the block is disconnected from the hose to the left front wheel.  It 
works like the banjo fittings on the brake calipers.  Not intuitive.
