AFAIK, it should run just bolting everything up (using new gaskets of
course).  One thing you should consider is the valley pan--that is
the cover under the intake.  It seems they are a common oil leak
point.  I'm not sure how to really get it to seal, but I would start
by glueing the gasket to the block or cover first, since the problem
seems to be that the gasket squeezes out as the cover is tightened 
down.
