I know exactly what you mean. My 79 was a rolling chassis for awhile
before I got the fiberglass body on it. During that time my 3 year old
decided to help me out with his tools. Only he thought he would like to
leave them in the filler neck for the fuel tank! Luckily I found them
before they made it into the tank, and simply had to replace the rubber
hose.
