He's right--almost.  The Trac-Loc limited slip in the rear was an option
with the open diff the standard.  My figures show that approximately 65%
were the open diff, based on 1977 data.  And no Scout after 1966 had
limited slip differentialS (plural) from the factory.  Handling concerns
with a limited slip in the front axle caused that option to be dropped
sometime around the introduction of the Model 800.
