Keith,
All yes. We had no clue that the collar was a flow restrictor. We guessed it
was to prevent chaffing. He put one on in the same place using the end-clamp
machine to seat it. He cut off the ends and brazed on new fittings
(Beautifully, I might add), except for the pump end which they replaced.
Work was done by Jim Motely at Omniflex 519/622-0261, 800/265-6637. He did
the work while I waited.

Hi,
Hope you got your steering box reinstalled and it is working right.
Anyway, I read that you had your pressure hoses rebuilt. I have tries,
but the local hydraulic shop said they could not do it. So I was
wondering if you had the shop use your original fittings including the
flow restrictor in the center of one hose or if they had new fittings?
Also, what kind of shop did the work. Thanks for any info you can
share.
Keith
