Also check the fuel pressure. Mine had a bad regulator. I've never heard of
the chain breaking. I'd at least inspect the rotor. No clue on a head, but
these are such lazy motors at 8.6:1 compression, that I figure a used head
oughta work if you're tryin to do this on the cheap.

And figure on redoing the entire front end to get rid of the shimmy, if it
hasn't been done.
