Jorge,
Has the left wiper arm been flaky lately? Resting at an unusual spot and
extending past the usual position on the windshield?
For starters, pull off the plastic cap over the base of the arm and remove
the nut that holds the wiper arm to the motor. Chances are it is already
loose which is exactly your problem. Just to be sure remove it an observe
if the wiper motor gear is moving.
A loose connection between the motor and arm's threads may have eaten up
the threads on the softer wiper arm. Tightening it back may not be enough
and you might have to replace the arm altogether. But try tightening first.
