You should just be able to replace the "hockey puck" easily; they just snap 
into the hole you're feeling under there.  I doubt you damaged the floorpan 
underneath.  The jack pads are standard wear-and-tear items on E-36's and 
readily available at the dealer.  

To help them stay on, there are a number of thoughts, the best of which is to 
drill out the center of the hockey puck and use a bolt to mechanically spread 
the snap-in lugs for a positive engagement.  Just be sure you can remove them 
when you need to, because the snap-in hole is also the approved tie-down 
point when the vehicle is being flatbedded.
