Alex, Pardon me for being more than a little insulted by your reply.  As
you posted yours on the digest it seems appropriate that my counter
should also be addressed in "public" in that matter.
I'm afraid you jumped to some conclusions here.  I don't know where in
my message you got the idea that I had mixed tires and blamed my
handling problems on that.  I had the same problem with two different
sets of tires. FOUR tires of the SAME type.  
Your flame was entirely out of line and half cocked.  I have received
very accurate and helpful information from others who, unlike yourself,
did not jump to erroneous conclusions and decided to hurl insults and
accuse me of being half brain dead.  Get off your pedestal and be sure
of what you say before you go accusing and insulting others.  Next time
less attitude, more facts, please.

Do you get any error codes (check engine light, etc) or warning lights

You've got to be kidding us.
You are driving on two 'performance' and two 'piece of shit' tires and
are 
complaining about the handling?
Mixing tires with different rates of wear is not a good idea. Mixing 
different models of tires is a very bad idea. 
Mixing snow and performance tires is brain dead stupid. The car will be 
unsafe both in the winter, the summer and all the time in between!

This has nothing to do with your car's handling unless you top it all
off 
by driving with your parking brake on.

tires waiting for you at the tire shop.
