E36 central locking

Hi, Is there anyway to bypass the central locking in my 94 E36 318i, the keys
have been lost (long story), but the window is down and I can access the
interior.
If I could get the drivers door open I could remove the lock and have some new
keys cut.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
