I wasn't paying attention to which 318 this thread was about, so here
are both diff ratios, per the ETK.
'84/'85 318i diff = 3.91
'90/'91 318is = 4.10.
Both were open (non-LSD) unless you optioned up for the towing/winter
package for the '91
