RE: E39/540 Check Engine light?



Try having the error codes read from the DME.  You can either buy or
borrow a code reader and do it yourself or take it to a BMW repair shop
or dealership.  There's no point trying to guess what the problem might
be, the computer will tell you if you ask it.
