I just installed the 7894 in my E36

amber backlighting (pretty close match), plus you can disable the flourescent
display, very nice feature, however when you press any button it comes back on
temporally so you can see what you are doing, then shuts off in 5 seconds,
(like a screen saver actually).

plays mp3's no problem, I integrated into the stock system, you may wish to
upgrade...

I am very happy with the product.
