Re: brake wear sensor - testing?

Not sure about a '92 E36, but for the E39 you are supposed to turn the
ignition key to position 1 for at least 30 seconds to reset that
indication (according to the TIS procedure).

Subject: brake wear sensor - testing?

Hi People

Is there any way of testing the brake wear sensors on my '92 e36 320?
The sensors look in good shape but the dash warninglight won't go out
even after installing new pads all round - front rotors were also
replaced.

TIA
