Techno Violet M3 + M3 Q's

I'm looking into getting an M3, and I've found some, but nothing that
really sparked my interest.  Today, I got word of a 1997 M3 Techno
Violet 5spd Coupe, w silver interior that may fit my billing.  I've
never seen this color in person before, nor have I ever seen it
advertised anywhere m3's are for sale.  Is this color rare??  Does it
look more like a black or chameleon style paint? Anyone who has this
color care to send me a url or few with some pics, interior and
exterior?  

I called the owner, and asked about if it had any wood grain.  He said
it did not.  My next question is if it doesn't have wood grain, would
that mean it has the sport /// embroidered vader seats?
