You need to look at the casting numbers on the bottom front right of the block.  It's kind of hard to do without jacking up the car (and using jack stands!!!) Here are the
casting numbers courtesy of Brett Anderson.  If it's Nikasil, don't go near it.  It's at least a $6K repair and it's not "if it will fail"  it's "when."  Good luck
