I am trying to decide on snow tires and wheels for my 2001 740i, with sport
package.

The dealer is selling a package including 16" alloy wheels and Pirelli snows
(Winter 210 SnowSports I believe) in 235/60HR16

Tire rack recommends these as well as Michelin Artic-Alpins and Pilot Alpins (I
don't need Blizzaks in Toronto) along with a selection of 11 different alloy
wheels and I am lost as to which to buy.

I have been running Alpins for several years on my 328ic on steel wheels and I
am perfectly happy with them.

I would love to hear opinions on both the tires and wheels, including the dealer
provided option.
