Fuel hose

	I am new to this group and feel fortunate that there is one for this car. 
I am a converted owner of a heavily modified 1990 Mustang. The mustang is 
great for being fast, but it is subservient to the BMW. I am the new owner 
of a 1988 535is. Words do not describe my joy for this car. Anyway, to the 
question. I noticed the fuel line that is attached to the fuel rail nearest 
the firewall has been disconnected, and is plugged with a bolt. I have 
looked in the Benleys and am unable to see where it should connect to. Why 
does this car even run?
	I look forward to driving this car for many years.
