Should be noted in the owners papers or get from dealer .....

In order of repair..........~$200 if you DIY.
Check differential sending unit.......if ok, then
New improved or rebuilt SI board ?......If new then ,
Reflow solder on speedo circuit board.......If speedo not steady,
Replace cluuster contact board.
Voila.........all cluster problems on the 80's models cured.
