Hi. Having just test-driven an '85 automatic 635, I was astounded at how tall the gearing is--about 1,800 rpm @ 60mph. Having poked around, I think I've found
that the stock differential for this model (and the 5 series) was a 3.25, which would make the top gear about a 0.65 overdrive. Is this right? If anyone has info on
the differential and/or transmission ratios, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
