administrivia: sick email experiment

just a note to the lists:

1) i have a backup email you can use to contact me if krusty rejects
your mail: rwelty@domain.elided

2) i have commenced another twisted experiment with email.

the Mail transport on the digest.net server will now, when sending
outbound mail, accept START_TLS offers from the destination mail
servers. for the non-geeks in the crowd, this means that outbound
email will be secure and encrypted should TLS kicks in.

this is mostly being done for entertainment value, as there is
absolutely nothing about digest.net email that actually requires
security, and if the burden of encryption overwhelms the server, it
will be turned back off.

however, there are a number of broken TLS implementations out there
(one of them at us.army.mil!). i detected 7 this afternoon (GMT) and
told the server not to use TLS with those systems, even if offered. i
will be watching for others. there probably won't be any long term
impact, but for folks unlucky enough to be behind such servers, there
may be delays in your digest mail.

i am looking at setting up inbound TLS, but there's more
infrastructure there as i need to set up RSA keys.
