Unsteady Idle with Engine Warm

I have an e30 325es 86 model that has an idle that floats up and down. I
cleaned the throttle body, throttle position switch and air flow sensor. Car
had no idle problem before this and now it does. I did not adjust the
throttle switch as I didn't not know how. I don't recall if my Bentley
addresses this or not.
I doubt if I have issues with relays and I have carefully replaced the
instrument panel to correct inop tach and water temp gauges. Help
appreciated.
