locating original window sticker

Hi-
How does one get a copy of the original window sticker for a 4 year old 
car?  My seller did not have it (The car has changed hands several times 
since it was new according to a carfax.com report.)  I got no paperwork 
from the seller other than the owner's manual, stereo manual, a booklet to 
record service done on the car, and a guide to BMW dealers (by state).
