E36 94 clutch pedal....

Guys,

my clutch pedal has always had a little play (1" or 2") lately within that
play there is a clunking noise.... especially if the pressure is a little
to the side of the pedal... the pedal does not stick and it always comes
back to the "normal" position..... btw what is the normal position? mine
seems to stick out 2 " from the level of the brake pedal... is this normal?
i guess i am interested in knowing what's involved? parts and labor? is
there some cheap spring mechanism that can be replaced... ?? thanks for
your helpful comments....

I'm looking for hi-resolution BMW car pictures. (Z8, Z3, 850, M3 etc)
Does someone know a site where I can find some, and all that for free of
course.

Thanks
