86 BMW M325

Mike,

  Checked the VIN on Carfax.com; it's a 85 325e.
  To my knowledge BMW did not market any Motorsport 325 models in the mid 
80s. Most likely the car is a plain 85 325e. The vehicle sticker on the 
drivers door jamb will show the month & year of manufacture.
